It is sure to be a hit with both your plant-based and non-veg friends alike. In this recipe, I used my easy InstantPot Black Beans, but you can also use canned black beans if you do not have any of your own cooked beans ready when you are wanting to make some hummus.
Making your own black bean hummus is the perfect way to bring the family together around a whole food plant-based oil-free hummus.
- 3 cups black beans (cooked)
- 2 1/2 tbs lemon juice
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin
Place all of the ingredients into a blender or food processor. Blend together for 1 to 2 minutes.
